100 Voices Trail

May 5th 2018 to September 3rd 2018

To commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the RAF, 100 aircraft wing shapes have been carefully placed around Lincoln and Lincolnshire to form a trail. Each wing tells its own story through the voices of the people who have experienced the RAF.

The trails are tailored to both walkers and cyclists. Don’t worry about your ability as the range of routes cover a variety of distances.

The walking routes include:

Spitfire Trail (1.5 miles), Hawk Trail (1 mile), Lancaster Trail (4.5 miles), Sopwith Camel Trial (6 miles) & Proctor Trail (12 miles)

The circular cycle routes include:

Proctor Trail (12 miles), Handley Page Trail (45 miles), Hampden Trail (38 miles) & Tiger Moth Trail (55 miles)

Be sure to pick up a score card for your journey to fully immerse yourself in the experience. This can be downloaded online on the Visit Lincoln website or collected at the Visitor Information Centre in the Bailgate, Lincoln. There are maps available to aid you with navigation, ensuring that your day flies by.
