We are delighted to offer Meadowsweet Barn, our latest luxury barn conversion. Meadowsweet Barn is a detached, architect-designed barn conversion, standing in its own grounds, providing the perfect holiday destination for up to 10 people. The barn is situated in a traditional Lincolnshire country lane bordered with wild flowers in the summer, yet only a 10-minute drive from the beautiful and historic city of Lincoln buzzing with an eclectic range of shopping areas, quirky cafes and vibrant nightlife.
Meadowsweet Barn has a private, enclosed south-facing garden looking onto fields with cattle grazing. The garden has the luxury of its own huge hot tub seating ten people, hot outdoor shower and barbecue. Relax in the courtyard area or in your own traditional country garden.
The exterior of the barn is traditional in design, fitting in well with the Lincolnshire landscape. As you open the front door you will find the open-plan, stylish interior is designed in a contemporary industrial style. The underfloor heating and log burner (with logs supplied throughout your stay) ensure you will be warm and cosy whatever the season. Everything inside the barn is designed for the comfort of ten people. From the big, luxurious sofa to the huge dining table and well-stocked kitchen, your comfort is our main concern. The kitchen has all the appliances you will need including 2 ovens, a large hob, 2 fridges, a freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and drinks cooler.
There are 5 super-king bedrooms that can all be split as twin beds if preferred. There is 1 bedroom on the ground floor and 4 bedrooms on the first floor, each with an en-suite shower room and wall-mounted television. The bedrooms are individually designed with quirky touches and your relaxation very much in mind. We are a family run business and take great pride in looking after our guests, from greeting you on arrival to being available to answer queries during your stay.
Meadowsweet Barn is situated in the heart of Lincolnshire’s finest farmland, only 5 miles from the vibrant historic city of Lincoln and within walking distance of the Co-op store in the village of Dunholme. You can walk past fields where cattle, sheep and horses graze until you come to a secluded pond. You may fish here without charge, making us perfect for fishing holidays. If you walk along the lane you’ll come to a wild flower meadow, woodland and nature reserve. This makes a wonderful walk in all seasons. Family friendly village pub/restaurant within 2 miles.
Meadowsweet Barn has a spacious south-facing lounge and open-plan kitchen/dining area with bi-fold doors onto the patio and garden with countryside views. The garden also benefits from east and west aspects, ensuring that you are able to see the beautiful Lincolnshire sunrises and sunsets as you relax in your own private hot tub.
The entire downstairs area is open-plan, ideal for relaxed entertaining with friends or family. The underfloor heating ensures you are always warm and you can curl up in front of the log burner on the deep sofa for extra comfort.
