Lincoln Cathedral dominates the sky line

Standing majestically above Lincoln, the cathedral is steeped in history and really is top of the must see list when visiting Lincoln. It was commissioned by William the Conqueror and consecrated in 1092. As parts needed rebuilding over time you will see a Gothic style of architecture that takes your breath away.

View the intricate architecture and carvings, beautiful stained glass windows and experience the sense of history as you explore the building.

Roof tours – throughout the year (lasting about 90 minutes)

Tower tour – April – October. Climb 338 steps to the highest tower for a fabulous 360° view over Lincoln. Limited places available, booking recommended.

Children – Explorer packs available at no extra cost for children up to the age of 10 to make the visit fun.
